The Attorney General is both the officer best qualified by his training for the task, and has most time at his disposal to enable him to perform it. As, however, he seems to think that this labour does not fall strictly within his province, as Legal Adviser of the Government, I should be glad to know from Your Lordship, whether he is to receive remuneration for this service or not, and if it is not obligatory on him.
